Recently tragedy struck our family. My uncle, who I knew very well died suddenly of a heart attack. There was no warning whatsoever. The previous week we had all been out for a meal together and he seemed the same as ever and full of life. Then, one night a week later, I received a phone call from my mother to say that her brother had been taken ill and had been rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack. Obviously I got to the hospital as soon as I could but was unfortunately too late. He had died a couple of hours before. We were all devastated. He had left a wife and two children under eighteen. After the funeral, which was a terribly sad event, the family rallied round his wife and tried to sort out his estate. My uncle had life cover, thank goodness, so his family were provided for. Indeed, it was uncanny, but his wife told me that he had only recently taken out this life cover. Perhaps he knew deep down that something was wrong with him. We eventually sorted out his estate and now, thanks to him ensuring late in life that he had life cover, although his family are totally bereft without him and miss him every day, at least they don`t have to worry financially.
